As we read 1 Peter together, and participate in our Understanding the Times series on weekends, we hope you will discover fresh hope and confidence in God’s leading. Our mission and mandate has never been clearer or more important to a hope-starved world!

It’s time to experience the Holy Spirit in a fresh, new way and to know God as you may never have known Him before.

As we begin the second half of the year, we remember that prayer is not our last resort, it's our first response. Whether we're celebrating, mourning, seeking, or simply saying “thank you,” our first instinct should always be to go to God in prayer.

#thrive21days is a 21-day period of prayer designed to prioritize our relationship with God and focus our attention on what matters most. We want to encourage and empower you to seek God's wisdom, strength, and direction for your life.

Whether you can't imagine your life without prayer, or you can't imagine where to begin, the power of prayer isn't determined by the presentation. It's not the strength of our faith, it's the object of our faith that changes things.

1. Church Online: Join us online at thrivehere.church/live every Sunday at 10:00am PDT for the latest message in our series. Engage in worship, participate in the chat, and take notes.

2. Participate in 21 Days of Prayer: From August 16th - September 5th, dedicate a few minutes each day for a time of prayer, worship, and devotions. Use weekly prayer guide to help you during this time.

3. Praise & Worship: A playlist of worship songs centered around the Holy Spirit has been created for your devotional time.

4. Refresh Your Perspective: A special curated list of favorite messages is available on our YouTube channel to help you stay focused on God’s voice during these 21 days.

 Sunday 16 - Help me to love You with all my heart, soul, strength, and mind

 17 - Help me experience the power of the Holy Spirit and be led by the Spirit

 18 - Help me to trust Your providence in these uncertain times

 19 - Help me to love my neighbor as myself - and people I find difficult to love

 20 - Bless the health of my family that we may serve You well

 21 - Protect me and my family from the spiritual attacks of the enemy

 22 - Help me pursue purity and holiness in every area of life

“But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon you. And you will be My witnesses, telling people about Me everywhere.” - Acts 1:8:

“Pursue love, and desire spiritual gifts.” - I Corinthians 14:1

“Remember your leaders who taught you the Word of God.” - Hebrews 13:7

 Sunday 23 - Pour out the Holy Spirit and awaken spiritual gifts in the church.

 24 - Help the church grow in love for each other and be the kind of Christians that are impossible to offend

 25 - Bless and protect our pastors and their families

 26 - Help us raise up and empower the next generation to stand on our shoulders, go further, and do greater things for the Kingdom

 27 - Inspire us with creativity to proclaim the Gospel in fresh ways

 28 - Help us pursue unity in the Holy Spirit

 29 - Prompt us to be generous towards our church community with our time, talent, and treasure

“Continue earnestly in prayer, being vigilant in it with thanksgiving. Walk in wisdom toward those who are outside, redeeming the time. Let your speech always be with grace, seasoned with salt, that you may know how you ought to answer each one.” - Colossians 4:2-4

 Sunday 30 - Blunt the spread of COVID and protect the health of our citizens

 1 (Sept) - Confuse any plans for terrorism or attacks from evil people.

 2 - Let the ministry of peace and reconciliation flow from the church to our community

 3 - Bless our local, state and federal leaders with health, wisdom, and the desire to govern justly and righteously.

 4 - Encourage teachers, parents and students as they navigate an unconventional school year

 5 - Give the church favor with our community and it’s leaders

 6 - Let Your Kingdom come on earth as it is in heaven
